The Cultural Awareness Committee
This committee is for people who want to learn more about ISA and want to get involved in spreading the word about Indian culture and heritage. ISA has events on campus with various organizations. The cultural awareness committee would be involved in great events like Gandhi week, Diwali Celebrations, Republic day celebration etc. Raise your voice and Make a difference today! The committee will also help organizing upcoming events via hotels, transportation, funding rates, planning out the events, and more.
The Decorations Committee
This committee helps create and set up all the decorations for both Diwali Night and India Night. For example, the decorations committee would help us make the center pieces for Diwali Night.
Newsletter Committee
This is a committee that will involve anyone and everyone who is interested in writing for or working with the production of the ISA newsletter which will come out every month. We want people passionate about writing different types of articles relating with the ISA and the Indian Community and Indian Heritage. We are also looking for people who want to help produce and provide input for the paper on a monthly basis.
The Public Relations Committee
The PR committee will help out to promote all the ISA events throughout the year. This includes but isn’t limited to people helping out posting and passing flyers around the dorms and campus.
The Social Committee
The Social Committee will help plan and run various events throughout the year. To make this a great year we need a good group to work together with lots and lots of ideas. We have two guys as the Social Chairs this year; we will probably need all the help we can get!
